Hön uses the porcelain to reflect white privilege in contrast to those left destitute, with the red ants referring to forced evictions. The chameleons were inspired by a graffitied prayer in a derelict building where Siyabonga Dludla lives, who makes a living selling sheep heads, imploring one not to be absorbed by anger like a chameleon.
