The artist has represented the 17 grounds protected against unfair discrimination, or unequal treatment, in small icons arranged in a large circle, recalling the signs of the zodiac. The imagery and style clearly reveal that the artist is influenced by traditional West African art and symbolism, adding a rich cultural depth to the work. |
