Signage: | Mbatha is known for his work based on biblical stories; this work might refer to the Ethiopian eunuch in a chariot, from Acts 8:26–40. He wished to ‘Africanise’ the Bible, by reconciling Christian values with the myths and realities of his Zulu heritage, where he worked at the Rorke’s Drift Evangelical Lutheran Church Art and Craft Centre. |
