Custom-designed carpet produced for the foyer or entrance to the Judges’ Lounge within the Constitutional Court. Designed by Siphiwe Zulu and realised in collaboration with Sculptured Rugs, the work translates the artist’s visual language into a hand-tufted textile integrated within the interior environment.

The composition is defined by a rounded, almost circular form set within a square field. A vibrant blue ground is punctuated by red and white polka dots, with a cream-white circular centre that anchors the design. Through its bold pattern, colour, and texture, the carpet activates the threshold space, contributing to both the visual identity and functional atmosphere of the meeting area.
