| Signage: | The artist depicts a fantastic figure from the realms of African folklore and mythology, khodumo-dumo in Sesotho. The beast engulfs the entire space, and represents the primordial and sometimes malevolent African spirit. Matsoso echoes elements of African cosmology; the beast and the manner of its representation evoke African antiquity. |
