Signage: | Ou Lady looks at an old lady doing laundry in Sophiatown, the area and its people who were subjected to forced removals by the apartheid government. This depiction of an ordinary action speaks to how residents showed resistance by continuing with housekeeping tasks, but also to the life that was taken from them. |
