The artist chose the iconic image of citizens patiently queuing to cast their vote to represent political rights. Women, often deprived of rights in patriarchal traditional societies, are seen here engaging in active discussion and debate. This image highlights the importance of women’s participation in political processes and their right to express their views, a conviction likely inspired by the artist’s involvement in rural women empowerment projects.
