The artist reflects the stability that a safe and comfortable home can provide, feeding into peoples’ lives and relationships. His narrative image features a young couple, intimately focussed on the baby that the woman is expecting, with fragmented forms suggesting a house built of solid masonry, equipped with electric light and running water. A picket fence denotes security while the window reveals peaceful surrounds.
