Signage: | Much of Feni's work depicts jazz, speaking to the role of music in the movement against apartheid. Prominent South African musicians such as Miriam Makeba and Hugh Masekela, forced into exile as Feni was, released music critical of racial and other forms of oppression, contributing to the moral outrage over apartheid across the world.
