The CCAC travelling exhibition opened at KZNSA Gallery in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, on 27 September 2024 and will be on show there until 10 November 2024.
This inaugural travelling exhibition of the Constitutional Court Art Collection (CCAC), titled 'A LUTA CONTINUA: Reflecting on 30 years of democracy through the Constitutional Court Art Collection' started its journey at the National Arts Festival (NAF) from 20-30 June 2024, with its second leg at the William Humphreys Art Gallery in Kimberley between 1 August 2024 - 7 September 2024. The Durban showing is this exhibition's final stop for 2024.
The exhibition marks and reflects on 30 years of democracy in South Africa. It also explores the interconnectedness of art and justice, human rights and democracy, at this key moment in South Africa’s history and future. Find more information here.

CCAC Educators' Workshop
Tuesday, 8 October 2024, 14h00 - 16h00.
The workshop will be facilitated by Sumayya Menezes, former education officer and curator of the KZNSA, and will explore the educational possibilities of the Constitutional Court Art Collection travelling exhibition, 'A LUTA CONTINUA: reflecting on 30 years of democracy through the CCAC'. The session will include a walkabout of the exhibition, and will be of benefit to Grade 10-12 visual arts, life orientation, social studies, language and history educators.
