NDPP v Media 24 Limited and Van Breda v Media 24 Limited (2017)

The Supreme Court of Appeal found that the broadcasting of court proceedings should not be unreasonably denied as this would go against the constitutional principle that trial proceedings should be conducted publicly in open court.
