S v Williams (1995)

The Constitutional Court in both S v Williams (1995) and in Speaker of the National Assembly v Land Access Movement of South Africa (2019) refers to the values contained in chapter 1 of the Constitution, including human dignity, as the “guiding light” to move away from a violent past.
