| Artist information: | Born in 1957 in Ottosdal, Western Transvaal, Philip Badenhorst received an MA (Fine Arts) degree from Potchefstroom University, where he later taught. He is now a lecturer in painting at the University of Pretoria. He has had 25 solo exhibitions throughout South Africa and one in Germany, and participated in numerous group shows locally and overseas.
