Circus

Circus is the artist’s final lithographic series and speaks to how he often saw people – as captive circus monkeys trained to do tricks for others. The monkey represents the burdens of society across the world, speaking to suffering, intolerance and injustice. His work is characterised by intense mark-making coupled with a strong gestural quality.
