Signage: | The sculpture, which has historically also been called The Basuto Witness, depicts a testifying mine worker. There is no way of knowing the details of the trial or on which side of the law he stood but, despite his anxiety, he remains proud and dignified. The sculpture features minute detailing, but exudes monumentality. |
