Signage: | The artist's depiction of women holding bottles alludes to South Africa's high rates of alcoholism and related abuse. The circular shape reminds one of a car tyre which is commonly set alight during protests. Mkhize warns that with hard-won freedoms come responsibility given the legacy of oppression in South Africa. |
