| Signage: | Grief No. 2 shows an unclear interior space made up of overlapping forms and dark shading. A lamp-like shape appears to light parts of the image, while other areas remain in shadow. Drawer- or furniture-like forms can be seen beneath the light, although they are not fully clear. Parts of the surface contain bold patterns that resemble animal print, even though no animal is shown. The distorted and fragmented setting creates a feeling of instability and confusion. Through this work, the artist continues to explore grief as an unsettling emotional experience. |
