Signage: | The artist represents this most basic of human rights in an expressive print centred on a mother-and-child-group which, according to the artist, “symbolises the building block of any nation-family”, surrounded by representations of human diversity. Significantly, the artist emphasised that “the right to life even extends to our natural heritage”, represented by the growing plants along the sides. |
