The South African Flag is a large-scale textile artwork created at the African Art Centre in Durban for the Constitutional Court. The flag was made through collaborative beadwork and embroidery by a group of KwaZulu-Natal seamstresses working under the leadership of Leonie Malherbe.

Contributors included Hlengiwe Dube, Siphindile Nkosi, Ntombi Agnes Mbatha, Ntombifikile Greta Nkosi, Zibuyisile Pretty Zulu, Phume Dludla, and Thobani Mbatha. The work was produced over several months using separate stitched panels that were later joined, and its bright colours stand in strong contrast to the muted tones of the court chamber.
