Signage: | “Mo moriting” means in the shade in Sesotho/Setswana. Mtshali portrays the sense of peace she experienced upon entering the Constitutional Court foyer that simulates a clearing in a forest. The work points to the calmness humans find in nature, but also to how the court stands as a haven for the protection of the rights of people and the environment. Mtshali’s particular experience of the Court highlights its accessibility and openness, built to be a place of connection. |
