Custom-designed carpet installed within the Welsh Library, extending around the staircases on Levels B and C as an integrated floor intervention within the architectural space.

The design is characterised by organic, irregular shapes resembling cobblestones or cellular structures, creating a loose, flowing pattern across the floor. A warm, earthy palette of mustard yellow, terracotta orange, and deep charcoal black defines the composition, introducing visual warmth and cohesion within the library environment.

The carpet operates as a spatial anchor within each level, supporting movement and orientation while contributing to the layered visual character of the library interior.
