| Signage: | Verster spent a number of years teaching art at the then University of Durban-Westville and the Natal Technikon, and in 1976 became a full-time painter based in KwaZulu-Natal. The humid subtropical climate of Durban is seen in the artist's work, which often depicts scenes of nature, making known his regard for ecology and diversity. |
